Discussion: Coping
How do you or did you cope with your parents divorce? Did you like to talk about it with those you were close to, did you think about it internally, maybe you wrote in a journal to express your feelings, found books to read that you related to, or did you try and hold everything in and pretend like you were alright? People deal with divorce in a variety of ways. What ways did you find most helpful to you and your family's circumstance?
Discussion: Remarriage
Remarriage can be a difficult or joyous time after experiencing a divorce. For those of you who are having or have had a parent remarry what was your experience? Was it difficult to see your mom or dad get remarried? How was your relationship with your step mom or step dad? How long after your parent's divorce did they get remarried? Overall are you happy about their remarriage?
